Wine shopping?

Jen was giving me a ride home from work today when she suddenly had a urge to buy wine at the Durham Marketplace. I had nothing scheduled for the next few hours and she was driving the car so I say lets go do it.

All I know is that I know nothing about wines. I could not tell the difference between a Cabernet and a Chardonnay to save my life. Perhaps this is because I do not know many wine drinkers.

So I feel like a deer in the headlights as a stand before racks of bottles. Then when Jen starts asking about my wine prefaces all I can do is stand there with a dumb look on my face.

This stuff is complicated I need to sit down and do some studying.

Helping/Distracting Jen

Right now, Jen has a task very similar to mine a few months ago. She is packing her belongings to move to Maine to attend school. I came over to help, but ended up just distracting her from the task.

I guess it is universally difficult to quantify the personal value of a object and then determine if it is worth moving. It may be hard, but the end result is a slightly smaller version of you life. Without all those things that you do not need, one can find a bit of liberation.

Friday night movie: Clerks 2

Last-night the guys went out to see Clerks 2. It was hilarious if you are a fan of Kevin Smith style. If not, you will probably be offended and grows out by the picture.

One of the more interesting points Clerks 2 takes is the forming generational gap between geeks. When old school Star Wars geeks find that they are being displaced by Lord of the Rings geeks. It is an interesting discourse as the two generation fight over subjective opinions like which is better.

The movie also tackles so larger human issues. The main plot focussed on taking control of ones own life instead of waiting for one's big break. This message spoke loudly to me. It is something that I have come to realize lately. If you wait long enough something will eventually come along that is close to what you want. However if you buckle down, and perhaps take a risk, you can create a life exactly as you want it. It is simply a mater of wanting it hard enough to do something.

Very late night at the Friendly Toast

Other then the cool ambience of the Friendly Toast, it is also open from Friday morning till Sunday night. So when a friend come home drunk off his butt at 2 am wanting something to eat, we just load everyone into the car and drive down for a late night snack.

Too many projects at once.

I am not vary good at doing a large number of projects at the same time. Around a workload of six or seven projects that require time and concentration is my limit. After that I have to start saying that I am busy. Someday I will have a staff that I can delegate the minor tasks too. Then I just have to manage them.

When in this mode, I particularity dislike having irrelevant information being feed to me. I am talking about my boss dropping in unexpectedly and start telling me about the details of some long term project. it is not that I do not care, it is just that I am trying to hold down a pile of task while needlessly being bombarded with irrelevant information. At that point I snap a bit and tell him to "Go away and let me work." That is what I am getting paid to do anyway.

I think this blog is suffering

Of all the things in my life, this blog is suffering most from my lack of time. I wanted to write about all the fun I had installing PHP 5.1 on OS X server but I do not thing it will happen.

I am just lucky that I can still make time to play DDR daily.

Right now I need to get to bed, there is much to be done in the morning.

It got a little better

After work I went grocery shopping with Jen. There I bought everything needed for a good mexican meal. When we got back to La Tour, Jen cooked up a really good enchilada dish with rice.

Now I feel a lot better.

Still coming back to work.

If there is anything I have learned, it that work has a way of piling up when I am not here.

Also, there does not appear to any good web administration tools for nagios. I have installed a few of them and found each one to be cumbersome and and time consuming to use.

So now that I have not actually accomplished anything today I am in a real funk.

Montreal Day #3

Today was really only a half day in the city. It's a long trip home so we needed to get out by mid afternoon. I was surprised that we manages to pack up and check out of the hotel before 11:00.

Usually the last day is reserved for doing souvenir shopping and getting rid of Canadian currency. The best place to do that is back in Chinatown. I convinced Jen that "Men's Pocky" is the best so she bought a few more boxes. Jack picked up the BECK sound track (it is very good).

Half the group stayed in Chinatown to have lunch at the buffet. This is fairly traditional for our Montreal trips. After over stuffing our selves we got back to the van and left the city.

Overall it was a good trip. I got to see more new parts of Montreal and have lots of fun in the process.

Montreal Day #2

Today started out with a swim in the hotel pool. We got up around 10:00 and walked down only to find it was not yet open. So we waited around in the sauna till it open. The pool is outdoor but heated. It makes a nice way to start the day.

Agora showed up this morning. He is the Medaverse's Montreal correspondent and a really good Super Smash Bros. player. He brought his DS so games could be played through out the day. Agora also had a few bits of booty from his resent Japan trip. I favorite was his S.O.S. Brigade tee-shirt that he picked up in Akihabara.

The first thing everyone wanted to do today was play some ultimate Frisbee. So a suitably large location needed to be found. One option was the waterfront but it was quite a walk way. The other option was some athletic fields at one of the universities nearby. With a little trouble, we found a field. however I was quite hungry after this mornings swim. So Jen and I snuck off to find some breakfast.

We ended up in a Tim Hortons. These are popular in Montreal, you can usually find one every other block. The food was good but the coffee was terrible. As we eat it started to rain. Instead of going back to join a wet game of Frisbee, we went back to the malls to pick up a item we where looking at yesterday.

The item was a drinking glass with matching shot glass. We thought these would be perfect for Matt's Irish car bombs. When we got there we found the store was having a closing sale and a set of six pair only cost $6. So we picked up two boxes full of them was brought them back to the hotel.

By this time Cap, Pedro, Devin and Agora had left the game and where browsing Chinatown. Jen and I met up with them in a lounge there. The lounge was intresting, it had video games and plenty of tables for siting around and playing card games. It was a real otako hangout. The specialty of the place was bubble tea. We got a round of tea and relaxed for a while.

The guys headed back to the hotel but Jen and I stuck around Chinatown a little longer to do some shopping. We where particularly looking for some Pocky. My favorite type of Pocky is called "Men's Pocky." I am not sure where the male nomenclature cam from, but Men's Pocky uses a bittersweet chocolate and I think it is is a bit darker then standard Pocky. There are also what I call "fancy Pocky" available. These have crushed nuts or flavor swirls on top of the standard chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla. These tend to be a bit more expensive, have fewer sticks per box, and do not necessarily taste better.
I got a box of "Men's Pocky" and Jen got one with crushed almonds.

We took the Metro back to the hotel to save some time and then we joind Cap, Agroa, Devin, and Pedro for dinner. There is this little noodle shop across the street from Théâtre Hall Concordia that is just great. The food is good, you are served more food then you could possibly eat, and the prices is just right. We all filled up on General Tao Chicken and rice noodles.

Soon after dinner, Agora had a movie to get to. We said our goodbyes and when our separate ways. The full group met up back at the hotel to decide what to do for the evening. Some the the guys had enough for one weekend and other went out for drinks. I took the group that went out. They chose the place everyone went to last night. I have to admit it did not real suit my taste; too loud, mediocre music, bad lighting, hot crowded. I'l take any two of those and be ok, but when they all gang up together, I would rather be standing in the rain having a meaningful conversation with Chris (Monkey). Which is exactly what I did.

By the end of the night I was feeling a down. Jen and I went to get tea at the coffee shop on the corner. There we talked until I felt better. There was no specific thing I was feeling down about, just that feeling that the world is pressing down on your shoulders and you can not quite take the weight.

In the end we went back to the hotel and got some sleep. Things always look better in the morning.

Montreal Day #1.5

Around 4:30 we headed back to the hotel to meet everyone for dinner. Unfortunately i was feeling tired and took a nap. When I got up, I found that we where fending for ourselves for dinner. Cap, Pedro, Jen and myself took to the underground malls and found many wonderful things to eat.

Nine-ish we did meet up with everyone and went out drinking. The place they had picked out was ok, but to hot and stuffy for long enjoyment. After a little while we broke up into groups again and found different venues.

I found a lounge on the second floor of a busy intersection. It has a open air balcony that was cool and quite. Quite except for the street noises below. The place was perfect for light conversation and relaxing. When we realized that we where running out of money for the evening we left and got crepes.

Montreal Day #1

We safely arrived in Montreal yesterday.

Altogether there are 12 people going on this trip. Usually we would break up into two or more smaller groups for any activity. Twelve people is too many for most activities. However, tonight we all had dinner and drinks together at one place. Having this many people is like having a full blown moving party.

After dinner we broke up and went exploring the city. Unfortunately, eight blocks from the hotel it started raining. We headed back, but it turned into a downpour. When we did arrive at the hotel we where completely soaked.

That put a damper on the whole evening so we watched some TV and went to bed.

Today, we did not get out and moving to nearly noon. The first meal of the day was smoked meat sandwiches. These are a tradition Montreal lunch. I am not sure what the meat is smoked with, but is does come out real tasty.

Next we walked to old Montreal. There is something about colonel french architecture that I just love. While there I finally got a tour of Notre-Dame Basilica. That place is fantastic, every inch of the structure has been detailed in wold carvings and gold leaf. I got to take some exposures of the interior. I was surprised about how colorful the walls are. It is too bed the place is kept so dark, one can not see them.

Next we headed down to the water front for more walking and pictures.

Traveling day

Not much to write about today because I will be spending most of it in transit.
This morning I am driving from MDI to Dover NH. I need to leave early because when I get to NH, I will catch a van from Montreal Canada.

This will put a good number of miles under me for one day.

The sights around MDI day #8

For my last full day on MDI, my sister drove me to the top of Cadillac Mountain. Cadillac Mountain is the highest point on the island, from there the view re spectacular.

Strangely enough, the most interesting ting I from there was man made. I was fortunate enough top see The Cat speeding into the harbor. Even from the distance we where watching the size and speed of it is amazing. Imagine a object bigger then a building moving across the open sea at over 40 miles pare hour.

I guess this is it for my Maine vacation. It was great, next year I will have to spend more time there.

Next up in the list is the land of bacon and maple leaves, Canada. See you there. ;)

The sights around MDI day #7

Today, my sister and I took Trance to a area called Wonderland. I am not sure why it has that name.

The area is nice. It is lot like the other cost lines around MDI, rocky. But instead of the rocks being vertical cliffs, they are horizontal shelves. Think of a beach, but instead of sand sloping gently into the water, a rocky ledge slopes into the water.

At high tide, the sound that is made by this arrangement is impressive. Waves dump water into the rock ledge and then it flows back down to the sea gain. One can walk barefoot on the ledge and have the waves lap their ankles.

We would have gone on a longer hike, but the day had been punctuated by thunderstorms. We left just as one ended and retuned as the next one began. Between the crashing waves and rolling thunder, Wonderland proved to be a symphonic spectacle.

The rest of the day was spent on standby for work and reading a book. I did find the time to finish Jitterbug Perfume. I will need some more time to process its contents before forming a opinion. Summarily I found it to agree with my views of life and how one should go about living it.

Tomorrow is my last full day here. I will need to find something fun to do.

Quite Monday

I did not do much of anything today that relates to MDI. I was in fact working for most of the day. Just getting some projects done that I said I would do while here.

The rest of he time was spent back filling blogs and watching a movie with my sister.

There is also some more clean up to be done from all the visitors over the weekend. The where pretty good about keeping the level of mess down. Now I just need to attend to the details of cleaning to restore the house to its original state.

The sights around MDI day #5

Before the guys pack up back to New Hampshire, we had time for one last adventure. We picked Mt. Sauveur as our destination because it should have good views of southwest harbor and Somes Sound.

It only took a few minutes to drive from my house to the trail head. From there we walked into the woods and uphill. At only 600+ feet, Mt. Sauveur is not mush more then a hill. However the vews it offers from the top are spectacular. The day we had picked started out foggy, but as afternoon came, the fog lifted out to see and gave miles of visibility.

From the top of the mountain one could see literally thousands of brightly colored lobster-trap buoys speckling the water like leon stars. The harbor was full of sailboats out catching the steady sea breeze. On the opposing shore sat mansion after mansion with their perfectly manicure lawns and boat lined private docks. On a day like today it is easy to see why the rich have picked this place as their summer playground.

Next we made our way down. This took a bit longer then expected due to the lack of appropriate footwear on one of our party members. It was at that point we elected to buy him sneakers for his birthday present.

Upon reaching the bottom of the mountain, we found that the short path back to the car had been closed due to nesting falcons. This put me in a rather fowl mood because I knew the hike back to the card was a three mile trek along one of the busiest highways on the island.

Jack was bugged by the bugs and decided to jog ahead and bring the car around. This ended up working out, we met up with him after two miles saving us a bit of time. he drove my sister and me back to our car and we said out goodbyes.

They headed back to NH from there and I want home to take a nap.

I am sill rather anode that the nesting-falcon signs where not we posted at our end of the trail.

The sights around MDI day #4

Everyone is here now, Jack, Devin, Cap, Pedro, Matt, Jen, and myself. With my sister as well there are eight of us.

This morning started out with a swim in Echo Lake. It was a lot of fun to splash around and chase after fish. Jack and I decided to swim across the lake. This was made rather easy due to the swim fins I brought. Most people do not realize how easy swimming becomes with fins. We made it back and forth without getting tired at all.

Next we had lunch back at the house before heading off to Sand Beach. Instead of paying the $5 per car fee to drive into the park, we parked outside and hiked in on foot.

Sand Beach was crowded with tourists. However, it was never out intention to say there. We used Sand Beach as a starting point to hike over the sea cliffs to Thunder Hole. The hike was excellent. The rocky cliffs presented a fun climbing challenge for us. The entire way was all sun, and surf pounding against the rocks. Every view from there is spectacular.

Eventually we made it to Thunder Hole. Like Sand Beach it was crowded with tourists. Thunder Hole itself was not exactly thundering. It was just making soggy claps. With that done we hiked back to the cars.

The next stop was Bar Harbor. It was just as I had suspected, crowded, overpriced, and difficult to drive through. We just spent enough time to get ice-cream and subs. Then it was time to get home for dinner.

That night we ate pasta and hot sausage around the camp fire. Since we where all together, we decided to have a small birthday party for Pedro (his actual birthday is on Monday). Instead of a cake, we mad him a stack of waffles piled high with whipped-cream and strawberries.

A very good day overall.

The sights around MDI day #3

Jen showed up at the house last night. She made a very lovely dinner for my sister and me of her famous Asian chicken salad.

Today her told me about a place in Arcadia Nation Park called Jordan Pond House. It is a restaurant located at the south end of Jordan Pond with a spectacular view of the bubbles. The day was perfect for afternoon tea my the pond so we went.

The views from the Jordan Pond House are spectacular. The their special for afternoon tea is popovers with strawberry jam. It is great, they seat you out on the lawn and bring hot popovers right from the oven. This pace is a "must see" for anyone on MDI with a hankering for a wonderful afternoon snack.

The popovers and tea ended up being a bit more filling then we expected. So after we finished we took a leisurely walk around Jordan Pond. There were quite a few people around the pond house, but when we get to the north end of the pond, things get a lot more peaceful. Like everything else in Arcadia, Jordan Pond is fantastic. Too bad we once again forgot a camera. However, I do not think a camera could accurately capture the atmosphere out here.

Later that evening the rest of the guys showed up. We joined up with them down at Bass Harbor Head Light. Then we had quite a bit of fun climbing around the sea cliffs and rocks.

That night we constructed a surprisingly good fire pit in the woods near my house. It took a bit to light the wet wood found near here, but we got it going. The night was rounded out with smores and campfire stories.

This is going to be a good weekend.

The sights around MDI day #2

Today Abi, Trance and I went down to see Ship Harbor Nature Trail. The view there are dramatic to say the least. The harbor itself is quiet and protected. Water laps gently against rock shore. Wildlife is everywhere to bee seen. In the sky, in the rocks, and in the water.

The land is covered with lush green plant life. The harsh winters and thin soil have made most of the trees interestingly distorted. Moss grows everywhere; on trees, rocks, or any other patch of ground sheltered from the sun.

The entrance to the cove has a ridge of rock separating it from the ocean. If one arrives at low tilde, they will find a constant torrent of water flowing outward over the rocks and back to the ocean.

Beyond the the harbor entrance the shore becomes more violent. The sea waves crash down hared against the orange rocks. The rocks themselves have broken into massive cubes and slabs whose corners have been polished smooth by the waves.

It is a lot of fun to climb around on these rocks. Moving from tide pool to tide pool seeking any sea life that was trapped by the outgoing tide. The tide pools have red-brown tint to them like a over brewed tea. In the pools are the gardened variety sea life of the New England cost. Periwinkles, crabs, shrimp and a occasional small fish.

One must be careful when out on the rocks. Near the ocean the seaweed piles up think and slippery. A bad sep could send a person crashing into the violent north atlantic.

Bass Harbor Head Light

My parents house is within walking distance of Bass Harbor Head Light. So for my first day here I walked down to see it. With me I brought my sister and Trance. That dog is little, but never seems to get tired. She kept up with us the entire way.

The lighthouse itself is rather bland. However it is a lot of fun to climb around on the orange rocks the lighthouse sits on.

Next time I'l bring a camera.

Made it to Maine

I am back in Maine for a "not really" vacation. My parents are going to be out of town for the next week and a half, so I came up to keep a eye on my sister and the dogs.

The trip up was one of the worst of any I have experienced. I drove under the same violent thunderstorm for the entire trip.

When I did get to Bass Harbor, I found that the storm had knocked out the internet connection here. One of the provisions of my trip to Maine is that I could still do work while here. However without internet, i will need to head home in a few days to get stuff done.

I gave a call to Adelphia, the cable ISP here, and they said he soonest they could send out a tech is a week from today. That put me in a real fowl mood. I do not want to drive all the way home just after arriving here. Hopefully Adelphia will realize that the storm damages their equipment and send someone out to fix it asap.

I brought my DDR stuff so I can keep up with that. I am going to set that up in the basement and do my standard workout. Maybe that will take the edge off my current demeanor.

Still no internet at La Tour

Sorry for not updating my blog all weekend. We still have no internet at La Tour so it makes it a bit difficult to update. We are still waiting for the DSL modem to be shipped to us. I do not know why we are waiting so long. We ordered the service a week ago. Why do they make it so hard to become customers. We want to give them money in exchange services. Do they not want our money?

Speaking of internet. i was disappointed to find that our D-Link 634M does not support WDS. To compensate, we will exchange it with the hacked Linksys from work. That should get internet to my room once the modem arrives.

Today is a bit of a time crunch. I went to get my oil changed this morning. I figure that if I am going on a long trip tomorrow, it would be best to get my car looked at before leaving. While there, the mechanic found I needed to replace my oil filter. Apparently I have been wearing my front tires down aggressively. So I had my tires rotated while I was there.

I will be back filling the last two days.

Lazy Sunday

Today was one of those lazy summer Sunday when on one feels like they want to do anything. So we did not do anything. Just lounged around the house doing whatever ticked out fancy at the time.

My room is so bright warm and sunny. People are just drawn into it for napping or reading. At one point my room was full of people who had found warm sunny spots and just dozed there. It is all good, that is really what I set up my room to do anyway.

Showing my new home to my parents.

Here is a new and interesting experience, showing my first home to my parents. They came down from Maine for the weekend so I had a chance to show them around La Tour.

But before that Jen and I went out on a garage sale hunt to find a few items for La Tour. We where mainly looking a for a cheap silverware and something to put it all into. Originally we had never planed for my the four people eating at la Tour. However lastly it has not been uncommon for have six people show up for a meal. Around here, there are tons of garage sale every weekend. It only took three stops before we struck it rich. A whole tray of tableware and a pile of plates for only $7.50. Sure only some of it was matching but I can not complain about the price.

A odd similarity found between Jen and myself is that we are both children of health physicists. So when my family showed up I invited her along to see how many mutual acquaintances we have through our parents. As we found out, there a few.

So with my family we went out at the Weathervane in Dover. After that we got yo BJ's to do some shopping. Finally i got some sheets that fit my bed. Now I can sleep in it like a normal person. I can not thank my parents enough for getting me a few other items I needed at La Tour from BJ's. This includes a very nice set of saucepans that where much needed for cooking food.

My family stayed the night in their camper at my aunts place. Eventually it got late and I needed to head home with the loot I had collected that day. It was a good haul, not bad for a average Saturday.

Cool stuff: Wireless mesh networking with WDS

Wireless Distribution System (WDS) is a protocol used to link together two or more wireless access points into a single network.

The main advanced of doing this is it can extend the range of a single network by using multiple repeater stations to amplify and relay the signal. I plan on using WDS to get internet to my room on the second floor of the La Tour without running any wires for my desktops.

For my side I chose the AirPort Express. It is a Apple product so the quality is high and they have official support for WDS.

I was able to setup a WDS network between the AirPort and a Linksys WRT54G running Alchemy firmware. The Alchemy firmware is required because the standard Linksys firmware does not support WDS.

I used the directions found here for the WRT54G side and these directions for the AirPort side. The important thing to remember is all nodes of the WDS network must be on the same channel with the same WEP key (and sometimes the same SSID).

Next step is to get it connected to the D-Link back at the La Tour. I will update when I get that working.

When work messes up everything.

We where in the middle of a pod casting session when a tech support call comes in. I am all for helping customers, but this was not help, this was cleaning up after a mess they made. It was one of those:
Them: "We made a change and it stopped working."
Me: "Put it back the way it was."
Them: "We did and it still does not work."
Me: "Let me take a look at the call trace"
... Me logs in and does a call trace ...
Me: "You have a firewall messing up your calls."
Them: "We did not make any changes to the firewall. Your service must be broken."
Me: "Good for you, but the firewall is still messing up the calls"
Them: "No it isn't"
Me: "Yes it is."
... Repeat for two hours ...
Me: "Humor me and reboot your firewall."
... wait a short time ....
Them: "The calls work now...."
Me: "Good bye."
... Click ...

To clarify what happened, SonicWALL firewalls should be reset after making changes to VoIP equipment settings.

My the time we resolved everything it was too late to finish the pod cast and everyone was annoyed.

I have a new bed!

The deliver truck with my bed finally showed up late tonight. They move everything up stairs and put it together. It fit pretty much where I planned to put it.

After that everyone in the house had to try it out by flopping down on it. The general opinion is that I bought the right one.

When I did get to bed that night, it was nice to be able to stretch out and not have my feet stick out the end. Unfortunately, because I bought a queen instead of a full size bed, the sheets that I had will not fit. I should find out where they where purchased and see if I can exchange them.

Now the last part of my room that need to be added are my bookcases. They are bulky items so I am going to need some help with those.

The new place has a name.

After a little contemplation, SB and I have decided to call the new place "La Tour Mets le Dans" Or just shorten it to "La Tour."

Of course I will need to give myself the title of "Le mauvais loup de la tour." But would that make SB be "Singe velu de la tour?"

Any reason to celebrate, even a federal holiday.

Today is July 4. Instead of finishing moving my stuff, we decided to have a 4th party with our 13 closest friends.

The whole day was a flurry preparation. A great variety of meat had to be cooked. There where some less traditional items as well. Cap found a recipe for a Asian salad that came out very well. A lot of that success must be attributed to Jen's cooking skills. Cap must also be given credit for cooking up some of the best ribs, steaks, and chilli I have had in a long time.

By the time I worked my way through that food, I was too stuffed to eat anything else everyone else brought. Just about everyone brought more food. This created a feast of biblical proportions. More then anyone could eat. On the positive side, we now have a refrigerator full of food.

I did learn that I need to be careful of Jack's margarita mix. I do not know what brand it is, but I do now it can get me sloshed real fast. Too fast for the amount that I actually drank.

When evening rolled around, Cap, Jen and myself broke away from the main party to go have some fireworks fun. Every 4th of July, Caps uncle puts together a fireworks display for Cap's family. Ther best part about it is everyone gets a change to light off some fireworks. So it is not a big as many "commercial" fireworks displays, but it makes up in interactivity and intimacy.

A great 4th over all.

The moving, it never ends!

In like the last time I moved, this episode has no real deadline for me. So it has been a slow steady trickle of items from on place to the next. It seams easier, but in fact it is just the same amount of work over a longer time. Then add to that a logistics overhead of everyday spent moving. Back and forth to stores and places you forgot to go to earlier. Now it is more work then a fast move.

Lucky for me it is a holiday weekend so I do not need to add in time spent working( or not working when I should be) to the equation.

Over all the house is coming along great. So it will be time to start inviting people over to see it. Like some prized possession that we worked so hard to create.

As of now, the house will be nearing a completed state around Wednesday. By then i will have a bed and the internet will be in.

Help! The new place needs a name.

I am looking for suggestions to name the new place. I am looking for something pompous and arrogant to counter the demeanor of the place.

Suggestions?

Still moving...

No internet at the new place yet, so blog entries are short and sporadic at best.

Here is some stuff I did.

Kept shopping for a bed. I know that I will be spending $700+ on a new bed, so much time is needed to ponder all the possibilities. I have decided to go with a queen size instead of a full. This is after trying a pile of full size beds and realizing that my feet still stick out the end like in my current one. The queen in five inches longer so that should solve that problem.

General moving of stuff from the old place to the new one. Car load after car load, bak and forth. Luckily I have some good friends that help me out. Many hands make light work. However, those A/C units sure are heavy.

Had a great meal tonight. Jen wipped together some of the best chicken and broccoli alfredo I had ever had. The bet part was the lemon chicken. I have not had lemon chicken since I moved out of my parents home, so it was reminiscent of family.

Moving days

Not much blogging today.

Jen volunteered to help me look for a new bed. We jump up and down on quite a few of them but I did not pick one out yet. I will probably decide on one tomorrow.

Jesse did a walk through with the camera of the new place. After that we signed a few documents and got the keys.

Now its move, move, move. Too much stuff and not enough time.

k, thx, luv U, lol
